Im taking my mum to Aberdovey come rain or shine on Mothers Day for a walk on the lovely long sandy beach. We will then go to the "Caffi Ceunant" in Abergynolwyn for a BIG Sunday lunch. Its a great place to eat, good wholesome food at reasonable rates. After which we will continue along the shores of Talyllyn, trying to avoid the motorbikes coming the other way on my side of the road. Then god willing we will drive down to Dinas Mawddwy and brakes permitting, stop at Meirion Mill for a cup of tea and a scone.
The road to Dinas Mawddwy is incredibly steep with a perpendicular drop to the side, its a good idea to keep ones eyes on the road and not on become distracted by the jets which pass overhead on the "Mach Loop". You may also from time to time experience feelings of road rage while crawling up the hill behind a slow moving caravan. Its better to wait until you reach the top before letting rip with your horn and hands.
