Reading on the beach in March
Look at these two having a lovely time on the beach at Porth Colmon on the Lleyn last weekend. They were on holiday from Liverpool. March is a good month to explore the Lleyn beaches before the crowds arrive.

Mothers day is coming
Im taking my mum to Aberdovey come rain or shine on Mothers Day for a walk on the lovely long sandy beach. We will then go to the "Caffi Ceunant" in Abergynolwyn for a BIG Sunday lunch. Its a great place to eat, good wholesome food at reasonable rates. After which we will continue along the shores of Talyllyn, trying to avoid the motorbikes coming the other way on my side of the road. Then god willing we will drive down to Dinas Mawddwy and brakes permitting, stop at Meirion Mill for a cup of tea and a scone.

Mawddach waterfall
This is the waterfall just a few yards away from "Ty Glan-Afon" in a beautiful valley above Bont Ddu near Dolgellau.Paradise found, and only an hour away from home. No parking fees, no jet lag, no baggage restrictions, no delays, no time wasted in the car, just crisp autumn frost, sunshine, log fires, fillet steak, miles of empty beaches and incredible scenery.
Welcome to Wales and the Mawddach Estuary.
